JoeBush.net is Welcome and Open to All, Except for the Neighbor Kid Who Put a Stomp Rocket on My Roof

It’s been a rough past few months. Sometimes I worry that we’re getting too far from the humanity that makes us who we are. Sometimes I worry that we’re not seeing each other for whom we are. Sometimes I worry that I’m gonna have to get on a ladder and get a children’s toy down from off of my roof.

stomp rocket children

Jerry, your boys are out of hand. I need you to know that.

I see the humanity in everyone. Even in little interactions, I see it. We don’t have to fall to this. I’m not going to fall to this. We are all divided, but we are all still people at the end of the day. We may have different backgrounds, but don’t we all want to be free to do what we please? Don’t we all want to be able to be all that we desire to be? Don’t we all want to go a single day without Jerry’s fuck-up son launching another stomp rocket on our roofs?

Look around you. Look at all your friends. Tell me – are they just what they pretend? Do you see them for who they are? They’re just like you. They get up in the morning. They work hard to make a living. They have flaws, they have weaknesses, they have strengths. They might have to climb up a ladder to get to the roof to get a foam rocket down and throw it back at Jerry’s kid, who promised he wouldn’t do that again.

I have reason to believe that the future is bright. I want all readers of this site to understand that they’re appreciated. I want all readers of this site to understand that I want what they want just as bad. I want all readers of this site to understand that I want them here, and I want them everywhere. I want all readers of this site to understand that I’m tired of getting up out of my easy chair on a Sunday afternoon to fix Kyle’s mistakes stomping on the rocket thing too hard again.

We are all people. We all have the capability to work together, and we will all become stronger in the end, because that’s what we do. We get stronger. We learn about each other. We move forward – together.

If we stand alone, we stand still.

If we have to climb on the roof one more time to clean up for your son, Jerry, we’re gonna have some harsh words for the neighborhood association.
